LCISD students in PK-8th grade can adopt a Lady Pirate Softball player for the upcoming season! The cost is $50, which includes a t-shirt that will admit your child into home softball games. For more information and to print a registration form, click the link. Adopt-a-Pirate assignments will be made in the order registration form and payment are received. Giving back is what this season is all about! Thanks to the LBMS students who have served as Salvation Army bell ringers over the past few weeks!


Congratulations to LBMS ag teacher Hunter Parrott, recipient of the CASE Implementation Grant for middle school agriculture programs! The grant will allow our middle schools to purchase equipment for the Curriculum in Agriculture Science Education AgX course!


Christmas Break is December 23-January 9!
Thursday, December 22 will be an early release day on all campuses (12:00 p.m. for elementary, 12:45 p.m. for secondary).
Monday, January 9 will be a student holiday and staff professional development day.

LBMS Student Council members volunteered at the South Plains Food Bank apple orchard this week, sorting and bagging apples to be distributed to Lubbock area citizens in need during the holiday season!

The LBMS Theatre Productions class took their production of "City Mouse and Country Mouse" by Brian Taylor to Central, North, and West Elementary schools, with a detour to check out Buddy Holly Hall!




There will be no school for Lubbock-Cooper ISD on Monday, November 7.
This is a student holiday, a UIL competition day for elementary and middle school UIL participants, and a staff professional development day.
